Making a photograph is a special process for me. It allows me to tune out the past and the future, the noise and the distraction, and allows me to be fully present in the moment, focused solely on the unique beauty of my subject, our environment, the light, and a small, perfect moment in time. Pictures have always had a way of helping me to remember those quiet, ephemeral moments, which become remembered exponentially more positively as years pass. It is my honor to work with friends – both old and new – and my family to help us experience the present just long enough to allow the past to be relived for years to come.
Me, I see the best in others. I’m pretty easy to be with. I’m comfortable in my own skin, so people feel at ease during our time together, leading to a visible result – great images.
Who am I? I am an optimist. I see the beauty in everyone and every thing. I see
unlimited potential. I like ideas and dogs. I’m a practical romantic. I root for the underdog as much as the champion, depending on whose back-story is more compelling. I like a pink and purple sunset over the water, cityscapes of both THE city (NYC) and MY city (Hoboken), the golden light of the morning, people with lines by their eyes from smiling too much, Thanksgiving day toasts, the soulful eyes of my niece and people dancing with reckless abandon. I’m curious, and really getting to know people is my drug of choice.
I am available for portrait work (baby bumps, newborns, "day in the life" family pictures, holiday cards, pets, LinkedIn and other types of headshots, and "glam" shots) in and around the Hoboken and tri-state area. For additional information, please feel free to contact me at .
