Welcome to Cindy Morgan Photography! This site represents the culmination of a vision I developed after falling head over heels mad about photography about five years ago. It took me a while to articulate my thoughts about my own photography and build a collection of work that I feel proud of, while working up the confidence to realize that I have a hint of talent coupled with a ton of enthusiasm for this craft. Tens of thousands of images later, I believed that the next step was to put myself out there. Needless to say, I’m thrilled to be launching Cindy Morgan Photography and cannot wait to see where my camera and this blog leads me next.
So, why a blog? I see Cindy Morgan Photography as an opportunity to have a two-way conversation about photography with people who enjoy looking at and taking pictures, as well as a place to showcase my work and services. Let’s get the conversation started! I am very open to your feedback – and I mean about anything! Have a question about photography? Ask it! Want to give me some feedback on my work? Leave a post or send me an email. Want to see the blog work differently? Comment on it. I look forward to hearing from you. Stop back often!

PROPS
I would be remiss if I didn’t thank a couple of people for helping me nurture my passion for photography during the past five years. First, I would like to thank Chuck Tumulty for buying me my first DSLR camera for Christmas three years ago after wearing out my point and shoot. Who knew that I would love photography as much as I do, and that my little hobby would turn into something so much more important and meaningful to me. Thanks for your generosity, Chuck, as well as your support and encouragement along the way.

Thanks to my mom, Bonnie Morgan, for looking at every picture I have ever taken. Bonnie tells is like it is – the good and the bad – and I really have grown from her insight and feedback. Thanks for also posting the first comment on my blog. Even if you *might not* be very objective, I love that you are my biggest fan so far…and who knows, you soon may have some competition!

This blog would not be possible without the inspiration and perspiration of my friend, Reed Mangino, whose technical prowess and knowledge of all things photography has been a tremendous support and source of rich learning for me throughout this journey. I am a much stronger photographer thanks to Reed’s mentoring and guidance. He convinced me that I *had* to do this, and I so appreciate his confidence in my abilities. Reed is a really gifted photographer himself – check out his work at: http://latency.smugmug.com/Other/Photos/11442174_XSrVJ7
Finally, thanks to all of my friends and family who have gotten over their hatred of having their pictures taken and served as my models throughout the past five years. You have been gorgeous and patient while I honed my chops with a lens in your face. I have gained so much through working with each of you, especially the Morgan family (Bob, Bonnie, Michael, Joanna, Michael and Madelyn) and the Bocce crew, who weren’t exactly thrilled with the “paparazzi” always hanging around. Thankfully, they became used to my camera being present, and they ultimately stopped caring, allowing us to relax into some pretty cool portraits. And, for those of you who have cheered me on along the way, thank you for being with me at the start of this new chapter. I look forward to hearing from you.
PS – Thanks to my friend, Ted Dorset, for designing my logo. If you would like to work with Ted, please feel free to email him at tektoo@gmail.com. He is very talented and just a pleasure.
Loving this side of you…I’ve enjoyed seeing your photos on Facebook and look forward to seeing them here. The photos are terrific, Cindy. Thank you for sharing them!
I used to be just browsing every now and then but happened to be to learn to read this post. I have to admit that we are inside hand of luck today in any other case getting this excellent post to learn wouldn’t happen to be achievable in my opinion, at least. Really appreciate your articles.
