This image is The One… perhaps, the Helen of Troy of my portfolio. Its beauty launched a thousand ships within my soul, and I would never be the same again. Little did I realize in the moment, there would never be a day that I didn’t carry a camera, and that I would always be framing pictures in my mind. I guess love (and casually arranged flip flops) can make you do crazy things…just ask Paris and the Trojans.
Circa Summer 2007, this image was my best – taken with my point and shoot in fully automatic mode. While representing my humble photography beginnings, it remains one of my favorites to this day.
